Jura Wireless Connection Protocol

Jura Wireless Connection Protocol

There are now 4 different “connect” types for the Jura plug in wireless connections on Jura coffee machines and accessories, some allow connection from your mobile phone via an app to control or reprogram the machine or even pay for drinks, and some are just to facilitate communication between accessories like the cool control milk chiller.

This can lead to some confusion! So we will attempt to clarify their use below, though specific compatibility should be checked on the individual products pages.

Jura Smart Connect

The Smart Connect  (Blue) is Bluetooth and allows connection VIA Bluetooth to the compatible (check the compatibility chart) Jura coffee machine and your phone using the APP or a Bluetooth enabled accessory like a cool control (the small 0.6 litre units have no wireless provision). The 1 litre and 2.5 litre cool controls will connect using the “wireless connector” if the machine is using the “smart connect”

Jura Wi-Fi Connect

The Wi-Fi Connect (White) Important! if the machine uses the Wi-Fi connect you will require a WiFi connection from your phone or the accessory and so another Wi-Fi connect will be needed in the accessory.
