We've now had this machine for around a couple of months and are very pleased with it. It's a nicely made and finished machine that produces fantastic results. The milk froth it produces is superb. The only reservation I had was with the electricity consumption but I measured it over a 200 hour period and it uses very little, virtually nothing when it's not being used.
The service I received from Caffe Select was first class. Also, as they only specialise in Jura machines you're getting a knowledge based service rather than just another product off the shelf. Also, the price was very competitive considering what comes with the machine which you don't get from other suppliers. If you want a Jura machine, and I think they're the best around, you won't go wrong buying from Caffe Select.

Just when you think customer service is dead!

I decided to upgrade to this machine from my Melitta cafe.

The level of customer service I have received from Cafe Select has been outstanding,*****. Its just all the little touches put together has made it a great buying experience Keep up the excellent work.

The S8 is not a cheap machine but you certainly get what you pay for. The quality of the flat white is hands down the best flat white I have had from anywhere. The machine is extremely simple to use and customise, with clean up being quick and simple.

The cost of the consumables are of good value and a little cheaper than the Melitta, I am so glad I stretched for this machine!

MAKE SURE you buy from Cafe Select not only for the great service but they are a legitimate Jura specialist, I was dealing with other companies who pretended to be, but investigation uncovered they wern't.

My wishes answered.

I bought this last week to replace a Delonghi ESAM4200 which whilst very good value, left me wanting more. I decided I needed a machine that took the effort out of making cappuccinos whilst also extracting maximum flavour from the beans.
This model fulfills those targets admirably. Compared to my original machine this one does seem to use less coffee and yet produce more flavour too. More water is dumped into the tray suggesting better separation of liquid from the dregs.
I haven’t tried all the options yet but the presets seem sufficient to me although they can each be customised should you wish.
The milk foam is excellent and the cleaning process very thorough although quite time consuming.
You do need to spend money on the maintenance accessories though so investing in a Jura isn’t cheap long term and the filter costs will no doubt add up over time. However the end product seems barista quality and the S8 is well made and visually very appealing. You pay your money.......
